Small but mighty, family-tailored and ideal for every level, this is how the Gitschberg-Jochtal skiing area can be described. It is located in Maranza, only 9 km from the Haus Gitschberg and offers a new gondola for 10 persons as well as slopes for every level. For those who make their first steps on skis, there is an exercising slope in the centre of the village of Maranza.

The skiing area of Gitschberg and Jochtal are connected and offer a total of 15 lift facilities as well as 55 km of ski slopes for every level, guaranteeing unforgettable days on skis both for adults and kids. Moreover there are two ski schools, the ski instructors of which are specialized in teaching kids. There is all day care as well as 3 skiing parks for kids.

Starting from the Haus Gitschberg you can also go the the Plan de Corones skiing area at Riscone, as well as to the Plose at Bressanone. And if one day you decide to spend a very special day on skis, we recommend the Sellaronda, the tour round the Sella alpenstock on skis.
